Keenly fond of entomology since childhood, I started collecting specimens at the age of 12.

I began with general studies of insects (mostly beetles) in my area.

Studying took me somewhat away from insects, but still I ended up my university cursus by submitting a thesis on the insect chewing mandibles. Besides, I cultivated a deep passion for the study of flowers beetles and Dynastes of the world.

It has now been 27 years since I became interested in the Cerambycidae of the American continent. I have about 3000 different species of them.
